We’re partnering with an exceptional school district in Weld County, CO, searching for a Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction for elementary-aged students with Autism. This role would begin in August 2025 and run through 2025-2026 school year.

Location : In-person (no hybrid or remote options)

Start Date : August 2025

End Date : May 2026

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM-3 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Grade Levels : Elementary School, K-5

In this role, you will :

Provide specialized instruction and cultivate an inclusive educational environment for elementary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Implement evidence-based strategies, such as visual supports, structured routines, and social skills training, to promote student independence and engagement.

Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet a wide range of academic and developmental needs.

Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure cohesive student support.

Track student progress through data collection and maintain accurate documentation and communication with families and staff.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary / Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

Teaching license with Special Education endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education.

Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in an academic or classroom-based setting. Elementary school experience preferred.
