Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will provide essential nursing support and assist residents with their daily living needs, all under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include :

• Delivering individualized nursing care aligned with residents' care plans, emphasizing both physical and emotional well-being.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, while providing comfort and support.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, and promptly communicating changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
• Facilitating a positive dining experience through assistance with meals and ensuring hydration while being attentive to dietary needs.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercise routines to promote residents' physical health.
• Engaging residents in wellness and recreational programs to foster a joyful environment.
• Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with laundry services to ensure a comfortable space for residents.

This position requires teamwork and a commitment to upholding infection prevention standards. You may also have the opportunity to participate in committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing resident care.
