Now Hiring : Wound Care Nurse (RN Preferred)

Location : Coral Rehabilitation and Nursing of Austin

Schedule : Full-Time | On-Call Rotation Required

In this vital role, you'll provide specialized wound care, support resident recovery, and help lead a culture of clinical quality. If you're a motivated nurse who thrives on making a difference and is ready to grow in a leadership-support role, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do :

Provide comprehensive wound assessments and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

Monitor and manage complex wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, and surgical sites

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans

Educate residents, families, and team members on wound prevention and healing

Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the nursing leadership team

Track, document, and report wound healing progress and clinical outcomes

What We’re Looking For :

Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program (RN strongly preferred)

Active nursing license in good standing in the State of Texas

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience , preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing

Continuing education in wound care and pressure injury staging required

(Wound care certification preferred but not required)

Excellent documentation, communication, and clinical assessment skills

Must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation and support leadership as needed
