Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing accounts payable-related activities and procedures for the organization, ensuring that all accounts are properly paid, and providing accurate and timely management reports. This role requires attention to detail and a passion for accurate and compliant practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization. They will lead their team to ensure they provide support to our customers while ensuring partnership and collaborative fiduciary responsibility for the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounts payable activities and procedures.
• Ensure all accounts are accurately and timely paid.
• Provide accurate and timely management reports.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with all organizational levels.
• Lead and support the team in providing excellent customer service.
• Uphold collaborative fiduciary responsibility for the company.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounts payable, accounting, invoicing, and invoice processing.

Experience with three-way matching and accounts payable processes.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Oracle systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Over 2 years of high-volume accounts payable experience.

Experience with PO match exceptions.

Oracle experience is a significant advantage.

Bachelor's degree is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
