Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY ) has an OBGYN Generalist opportunity at NYC Health + Hospitals / Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a community hospital located in East Harlem and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The Staff is comprised of full-time faculty OBGYN Generalists, as well as subspecialists, including Urogynecologists and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeons. Metropolitan Hospital features a Level III NICU, 24-hour in-house Anesthesia, state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery suites, a dedicated Postpartum pavilion, and a AIUM certified ultrasound unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 900 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College .

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and Outpatient clinical responsibility
• Academic opportunity to train and mentor Residents and Medical Students
• Rotating OBGYN Residents and Midwives cover labor floor, with in-house Attending back up
• Wireless fetal monitoring during labor

In house call averages 2-4 times per month

Easy access to hospital via Q and 6 trains

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $260,000

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $393,600

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
