Data Engineer, Technology Consulting, Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young LLP, Tampa, FL.

Collaborate to deliver solutions utilizing leading big data platforms and cloud technologies (, Azure, Databricks, GCP, Cloudera, etc.

Assess the merits of different technology solutions (, cloud native vs. cloud agnostic) to make recommendations. Study and transform data science prototypes into production-ready systems with large volume data requirements.

Design and implement solutions for data aggregation, improve data foundational procedures, integrate new data management technologies and software into the existing system and build data collection pipelines.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.

Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.

Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8 : 30 am 5 : 30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in hands-on development.

Must have 3 years of experience in cloud, data pipelining, data modeling and productionizing AI / ML models.

Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of AI / ML Engineer, Cloud data engineer, or a DataArchitect or similar role over with minimum of 1 completed projects.

Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of code technologies such as :

• Java
• Python
• Scala

Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of code technologies such as :

• Kafka (or similar)
• NiFi
• Hadoop
• Spark

Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of Big Data querying tools such as :

• Hive
• Impala

Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of NoSQL databases such as :

• MongoDB
• Cassandra
• Neo4J

Must have 3 years of experience with Data ingestion, data cleaning, ETL, traditional warehousing and data marts, and data & insights provisioning.

Must have 1 year of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Must have 3 years of experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.

Must have 1 year of experience in at least one Machine Learning library / framework (scikit-learn, Mahoot, MLib, H2o, etc.).

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
