Job Description :

A Distribution Engineering Associate is an entry-level position in the field of electrical engineering, focused on assisting in the design, planning, and management of electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in Distribution System Design : Collaborate with senior engineers to design, plan, and optimize electrical distribution systems. Help create detailed drawings and plans for distribution infrastructure.

Emergencies and Outages : Assist in responding to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures. Collaborate with the team to help restore power quickly during and after working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Software Tools : Become proficient in distribution system design software and power system simulation software used in the industry.

Technical Learning : Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with developments in electrical distribution engineering, including new technologies and industry trends.

Communication : Collaborate effectively with customers, team members, engineers, and other stakeholders. Clearly and proactively convey information and updates on projects and tasks.

Qualifications :

Education : A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field is preferred. Some positions may consider candidates with an associate degree or relevant coursework.

Professional Development : Entry-level engineers may be encouraged to work toward obtaining a professional engineering license (PE) or other certifications as they gain experience.
