✨ Position Overview :

We are seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in first assisting for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures. This is a rewarding opportunity for providers who thrive in both the OR and critical care environments and enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

🩺 Role Highlights :

Procedures : Assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and lung resection cases.

Duties Include :

Performing OR assists , vein harvests , and chest tube placements

Managing patients in telemetry and ICU settings

Participating in inpatient rounds , procedures , and weekend surgical coverage

Schedule :

1–2 call days per week

1 weekend per month (Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

📋 Requirements :

Board Certification and active KY NP License (or ability to obtain)

ACLS & BLS Certifications – required

Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently

Clean malpractice history preferred

Must be comfortable with ICU-level care and surgical first assist duties
