As a Security Professional - Education Facility Patrols PT in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed logs and incident reports as required by site operations and Allied Universal policies.
  • Assist with access control and verification of identification for individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
  • Support emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and communication with local authorities as directed.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with all members of the campus community and visitors to address questions or provide assistance.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
