Shine hope in the lives of the most vulnerable. Buckner is seeking a Child and Youth Coordinator for the Family Hope Center Program in Bachman Lake, Dallas, Texas. This is a Full-Time role with on-site, hybrid, or remote possibilities depending on location.

Responsibilities
- Discuss the needs of children and youth with Family Coach and connect families with empowerment resources through networking with local agencies and church volunteers.
- Assist youth and children in accessing on-site programs and community referrals; accommodate varied levels of understanding of service expectations and eligibility.
- Develop and manage a system to coordinate on-site and off-site programs and facilitate communication among sponsors and collaborators.
- Support program enrollment, school enrollment, and other services to create leadership and development opportunities for children and youth.
- Build professional relationships with educational, living-skills, and child development programs; engage community and social service organizations to guide program development and implementation.
- Assess needs and concerns, research models, and recruit local programs addressing identified needs.
- Coordinate regular youth-focused events (e.g., sports camps, leadership activities, children camps, Vacation Bible Schools) and lead empowerment initiatives.
- Organize and coordinate a comprehensive children and youth program in collaboration with area schools.
- Maintain a master calendar for volunteer and campus activities and communicate opportunities to relevant staff.
- Coordinate the acquisition and distribution of in-kind donations and document donations following established procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.Minimum two years of related experience; minimum one year in community-based services for youth and children programs.Proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and any required activity training.Knowledge of and or experience with youth and children community resources; awareness of social service and health providers.Understanding of regulatory standards governing programs and services.Ability to drive assigned or personal vehicle with a valid license; provide proof of liability insurance and be eligible for Buckner's insurance policy; must be 21 or older to drive for Buckner.Physical ability to move objects / people (up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, 10 pounds continuously) and to walk / stand / sit for extended periods.About Buckner
