Embedded Software Engineer
Salary 125,000 - 140,000 USD per year
Requirements :
- Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of demonstrated applicable experience in embedded software development
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing software using C / C++
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with diverse stakeholder needs
- Knowledge of KEIL MDK for development and debugging
- Proficiency in Visual C++ for GUI Development
- Familiarity with JIRA or other issue tracking software
- Experience in programming and testing high reliability, safety critical and fault tolerance systems
- Knowledge of Cortex-M4 ARM processors development experience
- TCP / IP application development and embedded web development
- Strong typing skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to sit for an extended period of time
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Electrical / System Engineers to develop firmware requirements
- Implement multiple communication protocols (RS-232, RS-485, UART, I2C, SPI)
- Tune system performance and optimize existing state machines
- Knowledge of version control tools
