As the manager of our Wayzata location, we will rely on your keen business, sales, and operational sense to ensure a smooth operation of the space, lead the ModernWell Wayzata team, and take responsibility for the overall success of the ModernWell Wayzata location. We are looking for a problem solver, natural leader, and experience creator for our community.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional hospitality while in the space and model ModernWell’s service standards for staff.
Hire, manage, train, provide feedback and schedule ModernWell Wayzata staff members.
Oversee front desk operations, ensuring smooth daily procedures.
Maintain a clean, well maintained, welcoming, and inspiring environment.
Manage office and supplies inventory, mail distribution, and space system needs.
Partner with ModernWell accountant on QuickBooks management, invoices, billing, and reporting.
Track Wayzata membership and event revenue, analyzing P&L and identifying areas for improvement.
Create and manage all Wayzata membership contracts, serving as the primary point of contact for membership inquiries, tours and follow ups.
Serve as the primary communicator for the Wayzata location.
Nurture member relationships and ensure a strong sense of community.
Develop and execute new member acquisition strategies.
Lead the creation and management of newsletters, blog posts, email campaigns, and social media content.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to identify and target prospective clients.
Maintain an updated marketing calendar and oversee event and membership promotions.
Collaborate with external vendors / partners to coordinate ads and campaigns.
Respond to inquiries and comments across digital platforms.
Own the execution and oversee the planning, marketing, and execution of ModernWell Wayzata workshops.
Create, customize and manage workshop contracts and invoicing.
Manage communication with workshop hosts, guest presenters, and attendees.
Post and manage workshop listings.
Promote ModernWell Wayzata workshops across social platforms.
Solicit and book private event rentals, providing tours and client guidance.
Create, customize and manage event contracts and invoicing.
Serve as the primary communicator with private event hosts.
Manage logistics and coordination of all Wayzata private event details.
Train and oversee event staff to maintain ModernWell service standards.
Set revenue goals and track accountability metrics for private event rentals.
Qualifications
3-5 years of customer service experience.
2–3 years of management experience, including staff / team supervision.
Strong background in marketing and community-focused roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and experience in financial tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
Experience with Mailchimp (or similar email marketing software) and creating / managing social media campaigns.
Experience with CRM systems and website management (Squarespace).
