Job description

The Collections Support Associate is responsible for meeting monthly business to business collection targets set by the client using written and verbal collections processes while protecting the client's relationship with the customer. This position interacts with senior managers, credit managers, account payable departments as well as other employees of various organizations.

Key Responsibilities :

Meets monthly collection targets

Directs cash application through remittance advice and statements as required

Escalates issues in accordance with escalation policyAssists in the preparation of management reports in line with clients and Accenture's requirements

Attends client meetings to discuss debtor performance and address issues as required

Improves service deliverables to the client with innovative ideas

Job Requirements

  • Must be US Citizen for this work.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 1 year of collections and / or Finance / Accounting / AR / AP
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Collections experience in a B2B environment
  • Professional Skills Requirements :

    Proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel

    Exceptional customer service skills, analytical skills and problem-solving skills

    Demonstrated team player, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive

    Self-starter with ability to work independently to prioritize to ensure compliance with strict deadlines

    Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills

    Proven ability to work in a high stress environment

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
