Job Overview :

A highly respected civil defense litigation firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its Fort Worth office. This opportunity offers involvement in a broad range of complex cases across multiple practice areas. The role is ideal for a skilled litigator capable of managing all phases of the litigation process, from discovery through dispositive motions and client reporting. Recruitment is being conducted on behalf of the firm.

Location : Fort Worth, Texas

Duties :

Handle all aspects of the litigation process, including case assessments, liability evaluations, and damage analysis

Conduct written discovery and manage discovery strategy

Take and defend oral depositions

Prepare and argue responsive pleadings and dispositive motions

Participate in court hearings and status conferences

Draft legal briefs, motions, responses, and correspondence to clients and insurers

Communicate legal strategies and case updates to clients and insurance carriers

Maintain compliance with court deadlines and reporting obligations

Requirements :

Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

Ability to manage complex litigation independently and efficiently

Familiarity with client reporting requirements and litigation workflows

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications :

Admission to the Texas State Bar (active and in good standing)

Skills :

Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities

Strong verbal communication and courtroom advocacy skills

Proficiency in drafting complex motions and legal documents

Highly organized with strong attention to detail
