Immediate opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a top-notch company experiencing rapid growth!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Analysis of and improvement to current pay practice
- Verify hours worked, pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
- Train new team members
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions
- Support management and payroll with special functions / projects as needed
- Liaison with Human Resources, Operations, and representatives of Collective Bargaining Units
This is a 6 month contract-to-hire role, working onsite 5 days per week at our Tustin location!
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- 3+ years of Payroll experience
- Microsoft Office
- Experience with order processing systems (AS400 / Alpha Database software / Microstrategy, etc)
- Experience with Payroll and time / attendance software
- Excellent communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS :
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
