CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our Buildings - Sector Finance Team from our office in either Colonie, NY; Brooklyn, NY; Parsippany, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Cullman, AL; Birmingham, AL; Coral Springs; or Tampa, FL.

CHA's corporate groups support our technical sectors and market teams with financial, legal, business development and marketing, human resources, information technology and operational services to meet our clients' evolving needs.

At CHA, the Project Accountant oversees billings for their assigned business sector as well as ensuring accurate completion and timely submission to the client(s). CHA’s Project Accountant is also responsible for properly setting up projects and accurate revenue recognition. By operating in this capacity, the Project Accountant plays a critical role supporting the flow of incoming revenue generated by the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Minimum 2 years’ accounting and/or invoicing experience required (i.e. G703-G704 forms)
• Entry level managing 100 projects, engineering field experience, transportation work a plus
• Experience with Deltek Vision or comparable Enterprise accounting system a plus
• Previous work experience in a professional services organization or related field is a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills
