Description : Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 437 beds

Number of Staff : 60

Type of Staff : Director, permanent staff, 7-8 RRTs, 3-4 per diem help.

Day Shift Staff : Director, Manager, Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs

Night Shift Staff : Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs

Patient Ratios : Approximately 44-46 procedures per shift

Type of Equipment : Servo I ventilators, nebulizer, Hamilton, V60, Astral CPAP & BIPAP machines, ABGs, CPT

Typical Hiring Profile :

Skill Set Most Recruited For : Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters.

Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.

Preferred Skills : Trauma experience. Previous Meditech experience is preferred.

Typical Procedures : Respiratory therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.

Best Personality Fit : Candidates should be team players, critical thinkers, and patient care-focused.

The environment is fast-paced with a collaborative approach to physician relationships.

Dress Code : Light grey attire is required; unacceptable attire will not be permitted.

Accreditation by the Joint Commission has been achieved.

Designation as a Certified Primary Stroke Center is held.

Recognition as a 5-star recipient for the treatment of heart attacks has been received for 11 consecutive years.
