- 3 6 years of experience in cloud operations, CDN support, or network infrastructure monitoring.
- Cloudflare CDN, WAF, DNS, and Workers.
- Terraform (Cloudflare provider) for IaC automation.
- CI / CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Monitoring tools (Cloudflare Analytics, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Azure Monitor).
- Knowledge of DNS configuration and propagation, HTTP caching, and SSL / TLS certificate management.
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks (ITIL, SRE practices, or runbook automation).
Job Description :
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide operational, monitoring, and automation support for the ongoing migration of CDN, WAF, and Edge workloads from AWS to Cloudflare.You will support the CDN & Edge Infrastructure Engineering team by managing Cloudflare DNS hosted zones, ensuring service reliability, performing IaC-based deployments, and implementing proactive observability.This role is critical to maintaining 99.95%+ uptime, low-latency performance, and secure delivery for Smart TV and mobile cloud services during and after migration.Key Responsibilities :
Operational Support & Maintenance :
Support the deployment, validation, and maintenance of Cloudflare CDN, WAF, and Edge Function configurations.Manage DNS hosted zones, records, and CNAME / ALIAS mappings in Cloudflare DNS.Execute infrastructure updates via Terraform-based IAC pipelines (Cloudflare and Azure providers).Validate deployment outcomes, monitor configuration drift, and apply rollbacks if necessary.Maintain configuration parity between AWS and Cloudflare environments during transition.Monitoring & Observability :
Build and maintain monitoring dashboards for CDN latency, DNS response time, and WAF rule performance using Cloudflare Analytics, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.Set up alerts and anomaly detection for edge performance, request volume, and cache hit ratio deviations.Correlate edge events, WAF logs, and API gateway metrics for root cause analysis during incidents.Integrate monitoring data into Grafana or Power BI for executive-level visibility.Incident Response & Reliability :
Respond to incidents impacting content delivery, DNS resolution, or API availability.Work with Cloudflare and Azure support teams to triage and resolve connectivity or caching issues.Perform post-incident analysis (PIR) and contribute to runbooks and playbooks for future prevention.Validate DR failover behavior during Cloudflare or regional outages through scheduled drills.Automation & Continuous Improvement :
Enhance Terraform modules for automated Cloudflare resource provisioning.Integrate IAC pipelines into CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Develop scripts for log aggregation, DNS validation, and performance benchmarks.Suggest optimizations in caching, TTLs, and WAF rule tuning based on analytics trends.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :
Maintain detailed documentation of DNS records, CDN configurations, IaC workflows, and monitoring dashboards.Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams for continuous process improvement.Conduct internal training sessions on Cloudflare console usage, IaC deployments, and monitoring tools.Preferred Skills :
Experience with multi-CDN management (Cloudflare, Akamai, CloudFront).Familiarity with Zero Trust Access, Cloudflare Gateway, or Magic Transit.Exposure to Smart TV, OTT, or IoT content delivery networks.Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.Certification in Terraform Associate, Azure Administrator, or Cloudflare Specialist.
