Base Pay : $33.77 – $49.06 / hr (based on experience)

~5 years : $38.28 / hr

~10 years : $42.86 / hr

~17+ years : $49.06 / hr

Shift Differentials : Nights +$4.50 / hr | Weekends +$1.50 / hr

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 (Day Shift) | $20,000 (Night Shift) – available through Q3

Relocation Assistance : Case-by-case basis

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CVICU RN to join our cardiovascular critical care team. This role provides specialized nursing care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery and those requiring advanced cardiovascular support. With 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratios , the CVICU is designed to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Shifts Available : Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver direct, specialized care for post–cardiac surgery and high-acuity cardiovascular patients.

Monitor, assess, and intervene promptly in critical situations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.

Educate patients and families about treatments, recovery, and long-term health management.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and evidence-based best practices.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (required).

Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU RN experience in acute care (required).

ADN or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Certifications :

BLS – within 30 days.

ACLS – within 6 months.

PALS – within 6 months.

NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – within 6 months.
