Travel Experience Counselor II

Business Travel Consultant II Traveler Experience (TX) is seeking positive, energetic, highly skilled, customer-focused, senior-level travel counselors to join our team. This team provides outstanding service for our business travelers in multiple countries. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Provides consultative customer support services to client via multiple channels

Creates and completes travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail) for moderately complex accounts

Sells products that are of commercial value to CWT and contribute to CWT's profitability; sells 'add on' attachments (hotel, other); upsells targeted areas of travel

Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the best traveler experience in each situation

Works under moderate supervision

Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares

Escalates more complex problems to more experienced staff

Assignments include both routine and non-routine work

Experience & education :

Experience

o 3 years of experience working as a Travel Consultant.

o Good travel industry knowledge

o Strong verbal and written communication skills

o Skilled in GDS and other booking tools used by CWT (Sabre, Amadeus, etc.)

o Reservations (both email and call support)

Languages

o English

Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)

Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail

Fluent verbal skills in English

Great active listening and information gathering skills.

Proactive consultant - solutions oriented and accountable.

o Excellent working knowledge of the travel industry, application of client travel policies, procedures, and processes (including complex reservations and changes)

Able to use current technology and easily adapt to changes in technology as they come.

A genuine passion for high-quality customer service - we care about our customers and it's important to us that you do too

o Ability to work and adapt in a constantly changing, fast paced environment.

Must be a "Team Player" and work cohesively with others internally and externally.
