Operating Room RN Job Details

Location : Vail, Colorado (81657) – Colorado nursing jobs

Assignment Length : 26 weeks

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : May 11, 2026

Shift : 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,260 - $2,430 per week

Employment Type : Travel Nursing – Operating Room RN travel assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience required

Active Colorado RN license or valid compact state Registered Nurse license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Proficient computer and typing skills, or ability to obtain within 90 days

Strong command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, individualized nursing care to surgical patients and families

Manage daily patient flow to ensure optimal care, safety, and satisfaction

Triage patient requests and provide patient education to support care plans and wellness

Delegate care in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes

Demonstrate strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills in a clinical setting

Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in surgical procedures while following safety protocols

Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare providers for optimal outcomes

Work independently with minimal supervision and manage high patient volumes

Advocate for patient safety, preferences, and effective communication through Relationship-Based Care

Uphold organizational values and maintain HIPAA compliance

Perform other Registered Nurse duties as assigned
