We re Hiring: Bioinformatics Software Engineer
Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid)
Contract: 9+ months (with potential extension)
Are you passionate about building cutting-edge computational platforms for antibody-based therapeutic design? Join us to develop scalable infrastructure that powers molecular modeling, developability assessment, and interactive data visualization!
What You'll Do:
Design and implement scalable web interfaces for antibody and multispecific modeling workflows
Develop and optimize database schemas for molecular modeling data
Build and maintain FastAPI backend services supporting automated computational pipelines
Integrate molecular modeling tools like MOE or Schr dinger into workflows
Collaborate with scientists and data teams to deliver robust software solutions
Support platform deployment and testing on cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
What We re Looking For:
Master s or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Physics, or related field with 2-3 years of experience
Strong front-end skills (React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and backend expertise in Python/FastAPI
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker)
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and scientific pipeline automation
Understanding of protein structure, antibody design, or biophysics is a plus
Excellent communication skills in cross-functional teams
Bonus Points:
Experience with molecular modeling software (MOE, Schr dinger)
Familiarity with developability metrics and antibody engineering
Prior biotech/pharma industry experience
