GI Hospitalist Locums Job in Virginia Seeking 7 on, 7 off Starting Late November Ongoing Open to General and Advanced GIs Jackson and Coker is partnered with a northern Virginia facility that needs 1-2 Gastroenterologists to assist with a 7 on, 7 off inpatient GI Hospitalist schedule starting in late November / early December & ongoing going into 2026. The facility is open to general Gastroenterologists but could also use candidates that do ERCP. Are you available? Scheduling need : Will need 14 shifts total each month starting in late November or early December ongoing Seeking Monday AM - Monday AM stretches Can anticipate working between 8-10 hours in the hospital each day Description / Requirements for Assignment : Active & unrestricted Virginia license required 200 bed facility, not a designated trauma center Coverage will always be - Average of 8-10 hours of inpatient work each day with daily duties that consist of : covering the ED, daily consultations consultations, procedures, rounding, etc. ERCP would be helpful but is not required GI will have APP support to work alongside of them Dates will be ongoing through 2026 Credentialing takes around 60 days, would prefer to start privileges ASAP to allow for a late November / early Dec start Jackson and Coker offers : Weekly Direct Deposit Top Rated Malpractice Insurance In-House Travel Agency 24 / 7 Recruiter Availability Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
