All Zildjian products are made in the USA at our cymbal factory in Norwell, MA and drumstick / mallet factory in Newport, ME.
The Role : Operations Analyst
Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Director, the Operations Analyst provides analytic support for manufacturing operations and sales trends of the Avedis Zildjian Company.
They will help create and monitor detailed data analyses of operational and performance indicators. Provide support on a broad range of projects and perform tasks that support the manufacturing operations.
Duties will range from but not limited to developing and maintaining datasets, performing, and reporting data analytics, identifying statistical trends, and project support management and supportive tasks.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate / present operational processes as graphic workflows and system configurations.
Technical knowledge regarding data models, database design, data mining techniques.
Knowledge of reporting packages, databases, and programming.
Demonstrated ability to run queries, present findings and write reports.
Experience in supporting process / workflow building and operational improvement or project management.
Excellent computer skills
o Microsoft product suite : Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
o Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Power query, Power Pivot, BI Tools, etc.).
o Manipulation and creation of Excel spreadsheets; including but not limited to standardizing reports across multiple sheets, utilizing VLOOKUPs and functions / formulas, creating, using, and interpreting pivot tables, filtering, and formatting to generate desired results.
Requirements
1-2 years of professional experience preferred
Bachelors degree required. (Business or Statistics discipline a bonus)
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing organization while juggling several priorities required.
Infor Syteline ERP / APS preferred
Experience with some mix of the following preferred : customer experience strategy, marketing, strategic planning, sales operations
General understanding and application of time-based manufacturing and lean supply chain concepts.
General understanding of end-to-end supply chain
