What You'll Do :

Greet visitors, employees, and / or clients in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification as required and maintaining visitor logs.

Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.

Provide excellent customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
