The Role

We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, and refine the mechanical systems that form the core of our Arrive Point hardware. You'll work on enclosures, moving mechanisms, robotics interfaces, HVAC, power management, and structural components, ensuring products are robust, manufacturable, and ready for real-world use

This role requires someone who is comfortable leading mechanical decisions while collaborating with electrical, robotics, and systems engineers, and who can design with an eye toward AI integration , creating mechanical systems that work hand-in-hand with intelligent control and automation.

What You'll Do

• Design Mechanical Systems : Create robust, scalable designs for Arrive Points—covering enclosures, moving mechanisms, and robotics interfaces.
• Design Digitally First : Use CAD, simulation tools, and digital prototypes to concept, validate, and iterate designs before physical builds — accelerating development and reducing costly revisions.
• Lead Component Integration : Engineer how actuators, HVAC systems, batteries, and power controls fit seamlessly into product architectures.
• Prototype & Test : Build, iterate, and refine mechanical prototypes, running performance tests and improving designs based on real-world feedback.
• Optimize for Production : Design for manufacturability and scalability, aligning with suppliers, materials, and production constraints.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines : Partner with electrical, robotics, and systems engineers to ensure unified, high-performing designs.
• Tackle Complex Problems : Innovate around mechanical challenges in robotics, automation, and environmental performance.
• AI-Ready Mechanical Design : Design components and systems that integrate seamlessly with AI-powered controls and robotics intelligence—enabling smarter, more adaptive products.
