As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Red Rock Job Corps Center, you will be pivotal in providing quality healthcare services to our students. Your responsibilities will include administering care, managing health records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and safety of our diverse student population. Schedule

Mondays thru Fridays – WEEKENDS OFF!!!

Responsibilities :

• Clinical Care : Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to students, including medication administration, wound care, and routine health assessments.
• Health Education : Collaborate with students to promote health education, preventive care, and wellness. Conduct individual and group health education sessions.
• Health Record Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, assess situations, and provide prompt and effective care. Collaborate with emergency response teams as needed.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and address students' unique needs.
• Health Promotion : Actively participate in health promotion initiatives, including vaccination campaigns, health screenings, and wellness programs.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN is required. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Regional Approval is required.
