Our mission is to provide empowering and transformative music education, making a lasting impact on our clients' musical journeys. We have immediate work available Tuesdays at 2 schools in the am in the Montgomery County Area.

Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a music instructor based in the Washington DC Area. The Music Instructor will be responsible for teaching music appreciation classes for during / after school music programming, developing individualized lesson plans, instructing music theory, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The instructor will also be involved in both one-on-one sessions and group classes, focusing on skill development, technique, and musical expression.

Qualifications Proficient in Rhythm Instruction and Music Theory

Knowledgeable in Music and Music Education

Familiarity with teaching additional instruments, such as Piano, is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels

Experience in developing and implementing effective lesson plans

Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or related field is preferred
