Store Manager Trainer
The Store Manager Trainer is responsible for traveling to new store locations and assisting Area and District Managers with post-grand opening training. This role ensures that new Store Managers are fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities needed to deliver operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and meet company performance standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Train new store managers following grand openings, covering company policies, operations, leadership expectations, sales strategy, inventory management, and customer service standards.
- Conduct hands-on, in-store training sessions to reinforce UKG usage and Area / District Manager guidance.
- Coach store managers on leading by example in all aspects of store performance, including customer interaction, merchandising, team management, and operational compliance.
- Support succession planning and talent development in collaboration with regional leaders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
35 years of experience as a Store Manager or Multi-Unit Leader in a retail setting13 years of supervisory experienceProven background in training, mentoring, or onboarding retail leadersStrong understanding of retail operations, POS systems, visual merchandising, and loss preventionExcellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate and influence othersProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS platforms a plusAble to travel up to 75% with minimal noticeEducation & Experience Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred35 years of relevant experienceNo licenses or certifications requiredKey Competencies :
