North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery (NPOS) has supported communities in and around Western Pennsylvania for 60 years. Responsibilities :
- Assist surgeons during oral surgical procedures in a clinic
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
- Set up sterile fields and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques
- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records using DSN and other electronic systems
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
- Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients

Requirements : Experience :
Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist preferredFamiliarity with DSN or other electronic medical record systemsKnowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentX-Ray CertificationCPR Certification
