Mechanical Project Superintendent
Project Superintendent Overview
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Project Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning and coordination of construction projects including plumbing, piping, sheet metal, water systems, gas systems, and ductwork.
You must have experience in commercial, budget, mechanical, data center, warehouse, healthcare, education, and office environments to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to plan sequences of construction.
- Manage all aspects of the construction process and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Monitor compliance with building and safety codes as well as other applicable regulations.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee and assign tasks to subcontractors and other staff.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of laborers and other staff.
- Hire and manage personnel for each project.
- Ensure the quality of work meets standards and ensure the project is completed within the allocated budget.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a superintendent role.
- Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, piping, sheet metal, water systems, gas systems, and ductwork.
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
