Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Loads Freight All Kind (FAK) into shipping vans to meet sailing schedule 2-3 times per week via steamships or weekly barge service.
• Pulls orders, then verifies and prioritizes goods to be loaded.
• Plans loads for proper weight and balance.
• Utilizes the best size container for maximum cube, weight, and protection from the weather.
• Handles hazardous materials and ensures compatibility when loading hazardous materials.
• Schedules loads to assure timely delivery of goods to store locations.
• Assists in location loss prevention and security programs.
• Other duties may be assigned.
