About the Job :
We're seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to lead the development of our battery tender computer and control systems.
This pivotal role will guide design, implementation, and testing, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

We're seeking individuals with a proven track record in the following areas :
- Embedded systems : Experience developing embedded systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Battery Management Systems (BMS) : Deep understanding of BMS principles and practical application.
- Power components : Familiarity with managing different power components in energy systems, i.e. converters.
What You'll Do :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop the battery tender computer, ensuring compatibility with our robotic arm and overall EMS.
- Implement innovative solutions to optimize energy management and system performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability and safety standards are met.
- Lead both internal development and work with suppliers on requirements, design decisions and interfaces in areas like BMS, power electronics and supervisory control.
- Drive and participate in a culture of rapid development and testing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
