- Electrical Project Manager
- to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish.
- Job Summary
The
- Electrical Project Manager
- will manage multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role involves coordination between the field, office, and general contractors while leading procurement, scheduling, and reporting efforts.
- Duties
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of electrical construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure scope accuracy.
- Develop project schedules, manpower loading, and material procurement plans.
- Monitor job progress, budgets, and costs; issue weekly progress and cost reports.
- Work closely with foremen, electricians, and site superintendents to ensure productivity and quality.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and resolve technical or schedule issues.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Manage project budgets, purchase orders, and subcontractor agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation including as-builts and closeout materials.
- Support field teams in problem-solving and resource allocation.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals in coordination with GC and clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including GCs, owners, and inspectors.
- Lead project meetings and provide status updates.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Support site teams in maintaining safe work environments.
- Skills
- Proficiency in ProCore and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Experience in electrical engineering with a focus on system design.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools such as HeavyBid.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and contracts effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong project coordination capabilities with an emphasis on communication and teamwork.
- Knowledge of project scheduling methodologies using Primavera P6 or similar software.
- Prior experience in construction site environments is preferred.

- Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
- Minimum
- 510 years
- of experience managing commercial or multifamily electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of
- NEC, NFPA
- , and local codes.
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Pay : $70,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
