General Purpose of the Job
Oversee the coordination of the Driscoll Health System education and the assigned members of the Center for Professional Development (CPDP) training team members. Manager and supervise the daily activities of the CPDP team, to include training, coaching, organizing, planning, technical leadership, and operations. Provide leadership to facilitate, develop and design training programs to promote efficiency, growth and integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Learning Facilitator
a. Scans environment for learning needs, creates innovate programming,
maintains and revises materials, facilitates / teaches programs and oversees evaluation metrics.
b. Aligns programs with strategic plans, goals, and evidence-based practice.
c. Ensures documentation and record keeping for programs are maintained according to policy or regulatory requirements.
2. Maintains utmost level of confidentiality and adheres to health system policies and procedures.
3. Coaches Team to assist with issues, problems, and changes to operational processes and systems.
4. Exercise independent judgement in the planning, scheduling, organizing, controlling, and monitoring of the Teams' efforts.
5. Participates in the department budgeting and strategic planning activities as it relates to programs and Department budgets.
6. Responsible for identifying impacts, analyzing issues, and implementing efficiencies into services.
7. Reviews quality referrals, investigates and works with team to identify resolution.
8. Participates on or leads committees as appropriate and on request.
9. Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
10. Accepts other assignments from management as requested and complies with basic management principles of delegation.
11. Serves on project teams performing tasks assigned. Will be requested to lead and monitor project teams under the Director's supervision. Routinely provides project updates to appropriate individuals.
