Overview
Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions; troubleshoots engineering-related installation problems. Works under close supervision and solves problems of limited scope and complexity.
Responsibilities
- Processing submittals.
- Processing RFIs.
- Keeping up daily work tickets.
- Posting RFIs and change orders.
- Tracking and managing change orders.
- Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
- Documenting project issues / conditions.
- Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
- Submitting hours and cost codes.
- Obtaining permits, badges, and access requests in advance.
- Assisting with preparing change orders.
- Managing project library.
- Participating in Key Project Review (KPR).
Qualifications
0+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET-accredited program).Abilities
Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.Sitting for extended periods.Reaching by extending hands or arms in any direction.Finger dexterity for manipulating objects like keyboards.Listening to and understanding spoken information.Communicating ideas clearly in speech.Reading and understanding written information.Applying general rules to specific problems.Understanding speech of others.Seniority level
