Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation or Acute Rehabilitation Hospital Experience

Description :

This position requires Epic experience.

It involves working in a free-standing acute inpatient rehabilitation facility.

The facility offers specialized programs for individuals recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.

The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and return home as soon as possible.

The facility strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life for patients through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

The unit consists of 49 beds with a patient ratio of 1 : 7.

Required skills include blood glucose monitoring, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, and care of catheters and IVs.

Preferred skills include experience with trauma care.

Scrubs of any color are acceptable, while sneakers are not permitted.
