Job Duties :

• Assist a caseload of 8-10 clients in exploring and securing competitive employment through vocational assessments, job shadowing, and identifying volunteer opportunities.
• Guide clients through the job development process, including resume building, employer contact, job application preparation, interview coaching, and wage-benefit education.
• Track client progress by developing and monitoring individual goals, maintaining communication with the interdisciplinary team, and completing necessary reports.
• Participate in ongoing staff training, adhere to program policies, and update weekly schedules and labor reports as required.

Placement Specialist (PS) Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma / GED, have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and proof of up to date auto insurance. Prior experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities in a social services field is not required but preferred.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $22.00 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
