As the Security Officer, you will ensure that all individuals entering the Community Bank of New Jersey are warmly greeted and are assisted accordingly. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities relating to the protecting, safeguarding, and security of company assets, team members, and the public.

Security & Safety Responsibilities :

• Recommend and support the implementation of effective security procedures and best practices, while identifying and resolving security-related issues.
• Conduct physical security checks of the premises, including inspection of doors, windows, gates, and surveillance systems to ensure the facility is secure.
• Monitor property and observe crowd activity to identify and report suspicious behavior to local authorities.
• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas and document any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Assist in preparing detailed reports for internal investigations related to losses, violations of CFBNJ regulations, or breaches of policy.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts, including the development and execution of contingency plans.
• Address personnel-related security concerns, including procedures for employee terminations, policy violations, theft, and workplace violence.
• Provide evening / late night security coverage of the building during special events and committee meetings, monthly as needed.

Pay Transparency : The salary range for this position is an hourly rate of $21.58-$29.20. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
