As a Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, educating customers on consumer and category trends, leading distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution, and helping achieve volume objectives for our core brands. You will also be responsible for executing programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals, building rapport with customers, and serving as the primary communication link between key customers, wholesalers, and our internal team.
This position is responsible for growing sales to exceed target within a base book of existing and non-existing business via prospecting, profiling, and detailing, while engaging with customers via live virtual, face-to-face, and phone interactions. This role reports to the Territory Sales Managers / Regional Sales Managers and Executive Sales Members.
What you'll do
- Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
- Create brand awareness and positive impressions of the product
- Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business
- Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives
- Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM
- Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans considering previous visit outcomes and document in CRM
- Manage customer issue resolution, seek additional opportunities to support the customer s needs, and support business growth by providing customers with useful information and guidance
- Be knowledgeable and experienced in all accounts staying current with what competitors are offering and how Mitra9 products are positioned relative to the competition
- Participate in sales meetings, on and off-site training, and distributor events as required
- Lead educational sessions to enhance consumers' and industry professionals' knowledge of our products, their unique qualities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or olderBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredMinimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in beverage, energy, alcohol, or consumer packaged goods industriesResults-driven with a proven track record of volume achievements and delivering on distribution and retail promotional goalsProficiency in sales data analytics and toolsValid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territoryFlexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekendsAbility to cover business expenses that will be reimbursed promptlyAbility to obtain a solicitor's permit if requiredPhysical ability to stand for extended periods, lift objects up to 35lbs, ascend or descend stairs, drive to multiple accounts in one day, and strong communication skillsAvailability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.Bilingual candidates are encouraged to applyLocated in the Nashville, TN regionThe pay range for this role is :
