A Typical Day :

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building lasting relationships with clients, empowering them to make confident, informed decisions about their finances. You will work alongside a dedicated team to meet a diverse range of tax needs.

Your Responsibilities Include :

• Conducting thorough tax interviews with clients both in-person and through various virtual tools like video, phone, and chat.
• Preparing complete and accurate tax returns.
• Driving business growth and enhancing client retention by introducing additional products and services.
• Providing clients with comprehensive IRS support.
• Offering tax notice services regardless of certification level.
• Providing audit representation if you hold Circular 230 designations.
• Mentoring and supporting fellow team members.
• Completing the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment successfully.
• Bringing previous experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Handling individual tax returns proficiently.
• Thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
• Effectively using virtual communication tools.
• Communicating clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Meeting IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Holding a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range Information : The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $80.00 / Hr. Factors influencing pay decisions include experience, education, skills, and performance. Successful candidates may also participate in incentive plans that could increase earnings.
