The Protected Communication Systems (PCS) team is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer to support programs for our US military and various international customers, keeping the world safe from foreign threats. PCS supports multiple Collins contracts and is seeking to fill roles across several open contracts - our goal is to align each new hire with a position that best suits their skills and allows for career growth. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be a member of an Integrated Program Team (IPT) developing architecture, refining requirements, guiding system development and integration, supporting test development, and working closely with our customers and suppliers to ensure we deliver world class solutions.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation while collaborating with the customer
• Define lab activities including setup, configuration management, and testing
• Define Modeling, Hardware, and Software Interfaces
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
• Manage the preparation and / or execution of Design Reviews as well as Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
• Work with little oversight to solve difficult and sometimes complex problems
• Analyze system behaviors, supporting system trade studies, requirements analysis, allocation to subsystems

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
