Job descriptionBoard Status : Board Certified; Board Eligible State License Required to Apply? : Yes Minimum Years of Experience : 1 DEA Required : Yes State Licensure : Illinois Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS CSR License Required : Yes Reason for Job Opening : Turnover Vacancy Estimated Shifts / Month : 7 EMR / Charting : EPIC Is End Date Known or Unknown : Unknown Providers Typical Day : Neuro-Epilepsy Clinic M-F 8-5. Provider will see 8-12 patients a day, review EMUs, and collaborate with the neurological support team. Ideally, the provider will be able to read cEEGs and LTEEGs, staff the EMU, support the functional neurosurgery program (e.g. brain mapping), and meet residency training requirements. Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS, and DBS for epilepsy is ideal. Experience with perioperative SEEG analysis is ideal. The practice is growing and looking to refocus on complex patients.
