Your Future Team

As a Data Architect for the Enterprise Agility Engineering team, you’ll work closely with multiple software engineering teams and product squads to build and improve Atlassian’s Strategy Collection.

You will refine and govern our logical data models which track planning and execution data for the largest software organizations in the world. You will drive designs and decisions for our data architecture via statistical analysis of production data. You will work with design and product management team to translate our customer reporting requirements into solutions.

This role would be a great fit for an inclusive leader and coach, someone with creative and innovative problem-solving skills and a willingness to take responsibility for the data architecture from every angle. You will help the team develop and implement solutions that operate at scale - seeing your own technology efforts directly improve the product.

Responsibilities

• Regularly tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team, from technical design to launch
• Deliver solutions that are used by other teams and products
• Routinely tackle complex architecture challenges and apply architectural standards and start using them on new projects
• Lead code reviews and documentation, as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems
• Set the standard for thorough, meaningful code reviews
• Partner across Engineering teams to take on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects
• Transfer your depth of knowledge from your current language to excel as a Software Engineer
• Mentor more junior members of the team

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate\'s skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are :

Zone A : $206,100 - $269,075

Zone B : $186,300 - $243,225

Zone C : $171,900 - $224,425

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
