Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. Overview

The Accounting Project Manager is responsible for leading initiatives to streamline and accelerate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role partners with accounting, finance, IT, and operational teams to identify process inefficiencies, implement best practices, leverage automation, and track results to reduce close cycle times without compromising accuracy or compliance.

Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Design

• Evaluate current close processes, timelines, and dependencies to identify bottlenecks.
• Conduct root cause analysis of delays and recommend solutions aligned with accounting best practices.
• Develop future-state workflows that incorporate automation, standardization, and efficiency gains.

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $74,200 - $122,600 / yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
