Experienced Truck Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of produce to our customers, as well as handling shipping and receiving duties. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport produce to customer locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers according to the delivery schedule.
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care to maintain quality.
• Verify delivery accuracy by checking orders against delivery documents.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks at the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Communicate any issues or delays to customers and management promptly.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to management.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating delivery vehicles and handling products.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding delivery operations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and any incidents or accidents.
