Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
This is classified as VHBE (Variable Hour Benefit Eligible), where the selected candidate will work up to 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will be eligible to elect Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits as well as accrue paid time off and receive 11 paid holidays.
This posting will remain open until a sufficient pool of qualified applicants is obtained; however, it is subject to close at any time without prior notice. Hiring rate is $18.00 / hour.
Performs manual and skilled labor activities related to maintaining one of the city owned golf courses. May perform lead worker responsibilities, be the weekend supervisor and help oversee seasonal / temporary staff. The Golf Division operates the courses as a division of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Daily tasks aimed at prepping the course for play and maintaining high level playing conditions may include : Mowing, string trimming, bunker raking, greens rolling, trash removal, hose watering, and misc. small to large equipment operationPerform weekend supervisor duties as assignedPerform higher level lead worker responsibilities that may involve advanced irrigation and equipment maintenance, along with advanced pesticide and fertilizer applicationsAssist with construction, maintenance and irrigation projectsAssist with snow removalPerforms other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications & Working Conditions :
