Qualifications

The Role

The Director of Growth Analytics is responsible for delivering development-specific analytics and data insights that inform strategic decision-making across Hyatt’s growth organization. This role will partner with Growth Operations and enterprise-wide data and analytics teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of critical growth data. The Director will bring an analytical and data-driven mindset, with expertise in data systems and analysis, to optimize decision-making and enable organizational alignment around reliable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for interpreting and analyzing development data, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and continually refine critical forecasting and opportunity-identification algorithms.
  • Partner with Global Growth Operations and enterprise-wide data and analytics teams to ensure global, enterprise-accessible, single-source-of-truth development reporting and forecasting
  • Develop and implement dashboards, models, and analytic tools that translate complex data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Identify external (3rd-party) data needs across the Growth org, own relationships with associated vendors, and ensure maximum value delivery.
  • Drive adoption of standardized analytics methodologies, ensuring performance metrics are consistently applied across the Growth organization
  • Monitor and proactively address data risks, gaps, or integration challenges.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify evolving analytics needs and embed insights into strategic and operational planning.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree; Preferred in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data and analytics, business intelligence, ideally within hospitality
  • Strong analytical mindset paired with deep systems knowledge – ability to translate complete data into insights while understanding system integration, data flow and governance.
  • Proven expertise in generating and disseminating data insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Strong experience of analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or equivalent)
  • Experience working cross-functionally, translating complex data into clear, usable insights for business partners.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for business leaders

    Compensation and Benefits

    The salary range for this position is $131,300 to $175,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate / salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the minimum local wage rate.
