POSITION SUMMARY :

The Field Sales Account Manager (FSAM) plays a vital role in driving the company's growth by generating and closing sales for fence installation services. The FSAM requires proactive lead management, including contacting prospects, setting appointments, and conducting accurate measurements at client sites. Representatives must deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Success in this role demands strong selling abilities, problem-solving skills, and professionalism to effectively represent the company and uphold its standards.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES :

  • Demonstrate strong selling abilities to meet or exceed targets.
  • Contact leads provided by the company to schedule initial estimates.
  • Proactively seek new leads beyond those provided by the company.
  • Set appointments and follow up with prospects to close sales.
  • Accurately measure clients requested area for fence installations.
  • Collect payments promptly and accurately.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including post-service follow-ups for future work opportunities.
  • Provide clear and professional responses to client questions.
  • Maintain regular updates with clients on project status.
  • Keep tracking systems and CRM tools updated with accurate information.
  • Ensure organized and efficient management of leads and sales activities.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and offer practical solutions to client needs.
  • Track and report weekly leads received and appointments attended.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance to uphold company standards.

  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of outside sales experience.
  • Experience in fence installation or construction sales is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of customer service best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of local market and industry trends.
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Ability to travel to client sites regularly.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Capability to climb, bend, and squat as needed for measurements and site inspections.
  • Good vision and hand-eye coordination for accurate measurements.
  • Ability to drive long distances as required.
  • Stamina to handle a high-paced, physically active work environment.
