Radius Rule : 100 miles max

EMR : Epic – must be recent and proficient

Certs Required : BLS ( ACLS preferred )

Experience Required :

2 years RN

1 year in specialty

Recent Trauma Level I / II hospital experience required

Scheduling & Availability

Shift Times : 6 : 45am–7 : 15pm / 6 : 45pm–7 : 15am

Weekend : Every other weekend

Holidays : Must work 2 out of 3

Call : Low census on-call

Floating : MedSurg, stable ICU, RDU, Foothills clinic RDU

Blocked Scheduling : Not allowed

RTO Limit : Max 5 days

48-hour Guarantee : Not offered

Unit Details

Beds : 90 (double occupancy)

Nurse : Patient Ratios :

Days : 1 : 5–6

Nights : 1 : 6

Common Patient Types :

Pneumonia, COPD, radiation, AKI, lap chole, appy

Drips : Heparin & Lasix gtt (non-titrated only)

Charge Nurse : Present; may take patients

Support Staff :

PCAs (8–12 patients per PCA)

Monitor techs (RNs don’t need to read telemetry)

RT Equipment : BiPAP, stable trachs

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Orientation

Total : 3 shifts

NEO (general onboarding)

Clinical education / EPIC

Unit-specific floor orientation
